Do I need to already use Monarch Money?+
No. We work in Monarch most often, and that’s the smoothest path. We can also work with Lunch Money, Quicken Simplifi, or YNAB if that’s already your system.
I just want my Monarch set up. I don’t need budgeting, debt, or savings advice. How do we work together?+
It’s the same program. You can skip the $999 first month and start at $349 a month. We can usually get you set up and running in 2 to 3 sessions, and you may not need to stay after that. If you want the full setup done in the first month, start with the $999. You do not have to continue if you only needed the setup.
What if we’re not on the same page about money?+
That’s common, and it’s part of why people hire a coach. A calm third party often makes the conversation easier. If money talks are heavily tense or emotional, a financial therapist is the better first step. Coaching builds the system. It doesn’t replace that kind of support.
I have variable income, or I own a business. Can you help?+
Yes. Variable income is a regular part of this work. We’ll build around it instead of forcing a fixed-paycheck budget. For business owners, the focus is household cash flow, not business bookkeeping. Monarch isn’t an accounting tool, but we can track the personal side cleanly.
We’re retired or getting close. Is this still a fit?+
Yes. The work is still cash flow: what you spend, what you need, and how to feel confident about drawdown. This is not investment, tax, or retirement-planning advice.
How long do people stay, and is there a contract?+
Month to month, with no minimum. Some people stay a couple of months to get dialed in. Others stay longer for ongoing support. You decide.
What if I just need a one-time session?+
You don’t need this waitlist for that. Members of the $49/month Evolving Money Membership can book 30-minute 1-1 sessions for $100, a good fit for a quick gut-check without a bigger commitment.
What’s the difference between membership and one-on-one coaching?+
The membership is more do-it-yourself: courses, group calls, tools, and a private budget-audit recording. One-on-one coaching is hands-on and personal: live sessions, work inside your accounts, and accountability built around your situation.
Will I always work directly with Taylor?+
Coaching may be with Taylor or another trained coach on the Evolving Money team, depending on availability. The process and level of attention stay the same.
